The short version

Pasos is built to teach workplace English — not to collect your data. You can start learning without an account, Pasos never receives or stores your voice, and we never sell your information.

Learning without an account

The free lessons work without signing up. Your learning progress (which steps you've finished, your streak) is stored only on your own device, in your browser's local storage. If you clear your browser data or uninstall, that progress is cleared too.

Your voice

Voice practice uses your phone’s built-in speech recognition — the same technology you use to dictate a text message. Pasos never receives, records, or stores your voice. No audio is ever uploaded to us.

Email — only if you buy

The only personal information we ask for is your email, and only if you choose to buy Pasos complete. We use it to save your purchase so you can restore it on another phone, and to send you essential messages about that purchase. We don't send marketing spam, and you can ask us to delete your email at any time.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Stripe, a trusted payments provider. Pasos never sees or stores your full card number. Stripe processes your payment details under its own privacy policy.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent your data. We don't show third-party ads. We don't build advertising profiles about you.

Children

Pasos is intended for adults and older teens learning English for work. It is not directed at children under 13.
